Box contains 4 different character card sets to battle. Includes 4 hit point trackers, 4 point tokens, 4 reference cards, 16 damage tokes and 112 cards.
Game Set Up
Choose which one of the four different characters you choose to battle as. Each player has different powers and gears. Choose from a barbarian, a wizard, a paladin or a rogue.
Each player picks a character, then takes that character’s deck. You will need your point tracker card, your point tracker token and your reference card in front of you.
Place your token on the number ten. This will keep track of how much power you have left as others battle you. Be sure to shuffle your cards.
All players take three cards from their deck. It’s time to battle! ?
Game Play
Youngest player starts the game.
Each player starts the game with 10 hit points (your strength). Whenever you play a card that deals damage (swords on card) the player of choice loses hit points unless they have a shield played. If your hit points reach 0, you are knocked out of the battle.
To begin your turn you draw one extra card. Play the cards from your hand by following the symbols on your reference card.
Sometimes you can play more than one card by putting it in front of you, but you must play at least one card.
All cards go in the discard pile in front of you, except for shield cards that will be used to defend battles.
If you have a shield up, each time your opponent battles you, put one of the heart tokens over the shield to display how many you used. If all shield power is gone, put in your discard pile.
Follow the symbols from the reference card and complete actions in order on the card.
Play continues to the left.
Subsequent turns start with picking one card and working through the rest of the cards in your hand. If you ever run out of cards during your turn you immediately draw two cards.
Use your cards wisely and try not to take on damage to your own character.
Winning the Game
Game ends when there is only one character that has hit points and is still in the game. That player is deemed the battle winner! If no player is remaining, it is a tie and time for a rematch of skills.
