Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and a time that is traditionally about celebrating both family and friends. You may not be able to be together this year, but there’s no need to miss visiting and playing games. You can still celebrate and enjoy each other by playing games, both across the table or in a zoom call.

Overview
Would You Rather: Thanksgiving is a list of fun and silly choices in which players must choose which of 2 sometimes outrageous answers they’d prefer. Possible answers encourage fun conversation starters around the Thanksgiving table or while social distancing via virtual hangout. A no-reading or writing game version is included, which makes this a suitable game for almost all ages.
Game Set Up
Determine before the game how you’d like to play. You can print one copy of the game and designate one person, the Game Master, to ask all questions, or Single Player, and give each player a copy and a pen and let them determine their answers before everyone answers.
Download and print a copy or copies for gameplay. If playing via Zoom or another social media platforms, that player or players may also need a copy or copies.
Notes on Printing
You’ll notice I’ve included 2 copies of the printable. You can choose to print as normal, and one game will print per sheet. But, if you’re like me, and printing these games last minute, you may be running low on printer paper, you can print 2 pages per sheet.
Although printers are different, most have this feature available. On mine, when I click to print, there is an option for how many pages per sheet. Keep the page in portrait, and change to 2 pages per sheet. Because I’ve included 2 of the same page, it will print 2- 1/2 size sheets on one page; still leaving plenty of room to write.
Game Play
Game Master: In this version of the game, the Game Master reads from the list of questions and randomly asks players a question to answer – and possibly why they chose that answer. The same question can be asked more than once – inviting more conversation on what and why!
Single Player: each player circles the answer of their choice before the conversation begins.
Winning the Game
Since there are no wrong answers, everyone’s a winner!
